Mardi and Paul at Pangkor Laut

My husband and I stayed in Pangkor Laut Resort for a whole week after business in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. I must say, God has created a beautiful and quiet small paradise on P.L. The resort was very high standard and we felt not as guest but more as friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Europeans should take them as an example. It is a pity that one week is too short to experience most of Malaysia mainland as well. We took a taxi around Pangkor which was the opposite of Pangkor Laut. I was impressed by the hard working people and I realised how spoiled we are in Europe with money, work, infrastructure, politics, houses, waterworks etc. And we are still complaining about everything, while Malaysian people seem to have less. I was impressed by their kindness.

It really opened my eyes on certain matters. When there will be another possibility to vitit Malasia again I will not hesitate.

This holiday was perfect and I still think of the nauthy monkeys who broke in our house, which we did not lock properly. The nature, the beautiful plants and flowers. The food, although some other people were complaining about the prices. They ought to be ashamed. It was not at all pricy if you look back at the prices you pay in Holland or Europe. We were very satisfied with our stay and I am pleased to say that we had the opportunity to be there.
