Introduction

The Swiss-Garden Golf Resort & Spa Damai Laut is a beautiful located complex. It lies at about 30 minutes drive from Lumut. The Swiss-Garden, we will shortcut the name a bit, is spread out on about 400 acres. It is surrounded by green hills on one side and the Straits of Malacca on the other side. The hotel is on a rock top with a views to Pulau Pangkor and Lumut and the Lumut Navy base.

Accommodation

The hotel offers 288 rooms. Each room is equipped with modern facilities as telephone, safe for your valuables, coffee and tea facilities, hairdryer and TV with Damai Laut cable internal channels.

The decoration is typical Malay of design to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are spacious and have a balcony. When you check in, ask for rooms with a view on the sea. The scenery on the Straits of Malacca and Pulau Pangkor is quite spectacular.

Terms and Conditions:

The Garden Terrace

The Garden Terrace is located at the ground floor. It offers an excellent a la carte menu with a variety of Asian specialties. There is an equal excellent western menu available. Breakfast is served from 7.00 to 10.00 am.

The Swiss-Garden Golf Resort & Damai Laut Spa houses Samsara Spa. At Samsara Spa you will be able to enjoy the ancient art of Balinese massage. It is an excellent tropical spa with highly effective treatments.

Getting there and away

Coming from the direction of Penang:
Take exit Changkat Jering when you drive the motorway. Follow the direction Lumut. In the town of Terong you will take a junction to the right. There is a road marker Lumut. You will pass little kampongs and Pantai Remis. After about another 20 km you will find a road sign to go right. Drive one km and go left. From here it is 4.5 km to the Damai Laut.

Coming from Kuala Lumpur:
Follow the instructions as on our Getting to Pangkor page. Once you arrive in Sitiawan, follow the direction Taiping, which is road number 60.

You will drive in the direction Pantai Remis for about 15 kilometer and then turn left, direction Teluk Senangin. The white boards with green letters will direct you to the Swiss-Garden. Do not follow the direction DAMAR Laut, it is a different place.
