Damai Laut Golf & Country Club

The Swiss-Garden Golf Resort & Spa Damai Laut is just a 30 minute boat ride away from Pangkor Island. For the golf lovers who stay in Pangkor it will be a joy to know you can take a straight boat to the Swiss-Garden which offers an international golf course. It has an excellent 18 hole, par-72 course. The course is designed by Ronald Fream.

The great thing about the course is that it is laid out in a beautiful landscape. Playing here will be a pleasure since you have views on the surrounding hills and on the Straits of Malacca. The course is available for beginners as for experienced golfers. There is a professional golf trainer, Mr. Steven Cheah, available on your request. Facilities as buggy, golf sets and shoes can be rented.

The clubhouse has a Pro Shop with a wide range of golf attire and equipment. Next to the Pro Shop you will find the Golfers' Terrace where you can relax with a beverage and some snacks.

If you want to play golf in Pangkor itself, the Pangkor Island Beach Resort is your only option. The resort has a Midi golf with 3 holes with 3 separate tee off points.

For experienced golfers, the best golf courses are on the mainland. Having said that, the Pangkor Island Beach Resort is in fact the only golf facility in Pangkor itself.

Royal Teluk Rubiah Country Club

Royal Teluk Rubiah Country Club is located 13 km South-West of Lumut. From the golf course you will have a view on the Straits of Malacca and Pulau Pangkor. It offers an 18 hole par 72 course which has been designed by Estern Green. The total length of the course is 6225m.

For the golf lovers who stay in Pangkor, you will have to take the boat from Pangkor. There you can take a taxi which is about a 20 minute drive to this really nice location.

The 18-hole championship golf course is a Golfer's paradise and it's no. 4 hole (par3) has been awarded by Golf Malaysia as one of the most beautiful holes. You have to see it and play it to have that beauty inscribed in your memory.

Teluk Rubiah's golf course is just located at the beach.

The first nine, named Tembusu Nine which is by the sea while the second nine is called the Nibong Nine which is by the hillside, surrounded by jungle. Monkeys will wander occasionally over the golf course.
