Hotels in Malacca

Malacca is like Penang a heritage city. There are plenty of hotels in Malacca that are heritage hotels too. With its Portuguese, Dutch and British history, Malacca is one of the most visited cities in Malaysia. The city center with the Stadthuys (Museum), Christchuch, St. Paul Church and A'Famosa are some of the best places to learn a bit of the Malaysian history.

This page offers some hotels in Malacca we have sorted out for you.

Majestic Hotel Malacca Majestic Hotel Malacca

The Majestic Hotel Malacca is the first luxury hotel and spa within this historic seaside setting. The name is good chosen with an architecture that fits very well the historical city center. Many hotels in Malacca come a long way with their high quality, few match the Majestic Hotel.

The hotel has two types of rooms: deluxe rooms and one bedroom suites. And both are more then worth the money you spend here. Amongst additional facilities: babysitting/child Services, bar/lounge, business center, swimming pool and fitness center/spa.

Equatorial Hotel Malacca

If you need to check out late, and the room is not taken, you can stay until 4pm!

The resort's lush green landscaping and interior decor exude a luxurious and relaxed atmosphere. Its rooms and suites offer spectacular view of the Straits of Malacca.

The hotel used to be known as the Riviera but changed name in recent years. Although the hotel has great facilities, One traveler wrote: "Great resort. Food was amazing. Staff really friendly and helpful. Part of the day we were the only 2 people by the pool. Huge rooms. Separated living area, bedroom and kitchen area. Photos on the official website don't show it justice. We had room overlooking the pool."

Mahkota Hotel Melaka

Mahkota Hotel MelakaThe waterfront Mahkota Hotel Melaka is located next to Malaka's new commercial hub at Melaka Raya, across the road from Mahkota Parade.

With a fitness center, sauna, two swimming pools, kids' pool with waterslide, tennis and squash courts, mini-golf, and game room the Mahkota is a great choice.

I stayed here once and the hotel is very good and the facilities are impeccable, it's a little walk to the city center.

Hotel Weilia
