working in Lumut

"I worked on the Jana Manjung power plant project, my family came to visit me few times in Lumut at the Harbor View apartments where i lived. This result in day trips to all the surrounding places like Pangkor's Pan Pacific Resort (officially called the Pangkor Island Beach Resort) and other quiet beaches, Damai Laut, Ipoh etc.

Now looking through your web site it feel as if I'm away from home, it was a experience i will never forget. The friendly people, good climate (rain and sunshine) markets (where my wife just went crazy) all the different kind of fruits and dishes we learned to eat.

The easy going un-hurried life of most of the people seem to rub off on to you, yes it sound unbelievable that there are still places like this in our crazy world but it exist at Lumut. The place crawl under your skin and like some locals say it got the "come back call" in it, I surely want to go back to visit Lumut (Malaysia) again.

Peter, thanks for this great site, you put lots of effort it to make it a success.
