Teluk SegadasFor sure one of the very best beaches at Pulau Pangkor is Teluk Segadas. Here's a set of photos I recently made to give you an impression of its beauty. The short 20 minutes trekking through the rainforest is easy and can be done without a guide. That is not to say should you want to continue trekking in the direction of Pasir Bogak. I've done that twice and failed both times.

Destruction of Teluk Segadas
Teluk Segadas area will be transformed into a new beach area. The question rises if the development of this area and the destruction of forest is worth the investment. Here is my view.

Jungle trekking can be a dangerous activity, as I experienced on my trek from Teluk Segadas to Pasir Bogak. I lost the trail, and got lost in the dense jungle.

The two most visited beaches are very nice. Have a look and compare:
