My Pangkor Vacation....

Hi Peter,
What a nice website you have. A very hard work job!. I'm a local tourist. I went to Pangkor for the first time on 24/07/2010. I picked up Pangkor for my first backpackers (alone) since I found it cheap and also a beautiful island from what I saw in the pictures. And yes Pangkor is a very nice place to be. I just love the beaches especially Teluk Nipah beach. The people are wonderful and friendly.
I keep visiting Pangkor 3 weeks in a row. I am falling for Pangkor?.really had a wonderful time. I even got a very good discount during my 3rd stay?:D. Be good to others and we will gain something from it?ahaks. My 1st stay was at Palma Beach Resort, 2nd at Pangkor Indah Beach Resort and 3rd D'lima Chalet (This is where I got a special discount). Beach boys are also nice and well behave. They?re my friends now and all of my activities are free. Maybe because I?m a woman and alone? hehehe.
I went for a snorkeling at Pulau Giam, round island by boat and kayak, follow beach boy for a fishing and squid, visited Dutch Fort etc. But I spent most of my time at the beach?reading books, swimming and just laid back and relax?enjoy the sounds of the ocean waves.
Something that upset me. I want to express my disappointment regarding a project at Teluk Nipah beach. There is a major construction going on now at Teluk Nipah beach. They?re building walls along the beaches. Really screw up the natural beauty.
Whatever it is, I'm planning to go there again this Saturday (28/08/2010) and I have booked a chalet for next month as well. Oh boy I'm crazy about this island. I wish I could bring this island back to my hometown? hehehe. This time I want to go around by bicycle since I don't know how to ride a bike.
Is anyone on facebook? Maybe we can share Pangkor pix? Searh for my name : Leeza Lorena - The one with horse pix.
Love Nature,
Leeza
