Chinese New Year in Kuala Kurau with the Hokkiens

One of the most important festivals for Chinese people world wide is the Chinese New Year. It is usually celebrated in February. I wrote a report for the Pulau Pangkor Newsletter, which you can read here. This year I was a guest of the Hokkien people in Kuala Kurau, just south of Penang.

You can read here what happened that night.
