Playing golf in Sabah and Sarawak, East Malaysia has it's own sources to play golf. Usually Sabah and Sarawak are associated with rain forests or diving around paradise islands. Borneo Golf & Country Club

The Borneo Golf & Country Club is maybe a little far from Kota Kinabalu, 69 km to be precise. It's location however, makes the journey more then worth, even if you don't play golf! The course is designed by Jack Nicklaus.

The clubhouse offers a range of facilities for golfers and non-golfers. This includes a golfers' lounge, golf pro shop, locker rooms, games rooms, karaoke and billiards. There is also a driving range, practice area, resident pro and putting green at the club. The Prescott Resort Hotel is situated just besides the Clubhouse. Guests can stay in fully equipped chalet-like accommodation and enjoy the many recreational activities lined up for them like swimming, badminton and tennis games and fishing.
