Sembilan Divers

Sembilan divers is now close to opening the shop in Lumut. I have been there and I have to admit, it looks excellent. Claudia and Oliver have set up a shop in a different style as I usually see in Malaysia.

The shop is located in the heart of Lumut, near the Maybank. Although it is not officially open, you can already have a look and organize your next diving course.

Claudia told me the official opening will be somewhere in August. It will be a big happening so if you are in the area by that time, come around. Keep an eye on the blog or RSS where you will be informed where the information will be released as soon as possible. There are some new photos added to the Sembilan pages.

Travel the real China

In this issue I would like to ask attention for my friend John. He has set up a very nice and fast growing website about China. John lives in Shanghai China now for 3 years. He says:

Travel in China is difficult, even in the bigger cities like Shanghai and Beijing, getting around and seeing the sites can be a major hassle.

Venturing out of the major cities and seeing the real China can be a nightmare if your holiday is not properly planned and thought out. When you come to China, you want to really see, feel and experience China at it very best. I own and operate http://www.Travel-the-Real-China.com My site provides experienced based Travel and Tour information on the wonders of Travel in China; let me help you experience China and have a holiday of a lifetime.

The site includes information about Beijing, Shanghai, Guilin and Tibet and much more. Have a look at:

Make Your Content PREsell!

In the previous newsletter I wrote there will be a section special for webmasters. How do you write your webpages? And what is pre-selling? Why don't you sell? Isn't that easier!

Easier? Wrong! How many people go on the internet to buy something? Not many. How many people visit a website and buy straight from that site? Virtually no one. People go on the internet to get information, FREE information. And when you come on a website and the information is good, you come back. And you may buy something from this site if you feel good about it.

In other words, with supplying excellent information, you can make people come back. The idea is to build trust by offering quality information.

Now, how to build a website that pre-sells so that your visitor comes back to buy? "Make your content Pre-Sell!" explains in details how to do this.

To me it was the single most valuable book I read. You can read more here:

Recipes

The last Pulau Pangkor Newsletter had some excellent recipes. Did you miss them? Click on MORE RECIPES page to see them again. Or download your e-book copy here. You will find also two new recipes of dishes you will able to get at Pangkor island.

Many visitors to the Pangkor area are surprised to see specific Thai dishes on the menu. Especially Tom Yam is very popular in this part of Malaysia. And the Tom Yam is good. When you come by bus, you may stop at road side restaurants specialized in Tom Yam.

However, you best bet are some of the restaurant at Pangkor, Sitiawan or in Kampong Cina, near Sitiawan. If spicy food is what you like, Tom Yam is for you.

My first experience with Tom Yam  was in Thailand and it was too much for me. However, here in Malaysia the chefs make a milder form.

So, what is actually Tom Yam? Basically it's a full meal soup usually based on seafood, lemon grass, chicken stock and vegetables. However, it can be done with beef too. See the recipes I have added in the MORE RECIPES page or simply download the latest version of the recipe e-book copy here
