What are the snakes fed?

Does anyone know what the snakes are fed?

I don't want to go anywhere and spend my money if the snakes are fed animals like dogs, or anything else whose heart rate and panic level might increase drastically as one of these "gods' approaches with an eye towards a fanged-ripped meal. Do they eat tofu? Help me understand this.

I am a devotee of Vedanta, an aspect of Hinduism that not only does not require that any sentient being be sacrificed, but actively frowns upon it. I am also a devotee of Christianity, which is a religion that does not promote physical sacrifice, but rather, which demands ultimate compassion towards all - which requires one to put yourself in another's (including animals) place before acting or speaking, or even thinking.. i am also a devotee of Buddhism, the crux of which, through my understanding, is COMPASSION towards all sentient beings, including animals.
