We loved Nipah Bay Villa!

Nipah Beach

Nipah Beach

My husband and I stayed here with our 7 year old daughter in August 2007. We stayed for 5 nights and paid the equivalent of $38 CDN a night for a deluxe chalet with a king size and single bed. We had AC and a TV with three channels including HBO. Nipah Beach was a 2-3 minute walk away and Coral Beach was 5-7 minutes. Both beaches were beautiful but Coral Beach was white sand and clear water and almost totally vacant the entire time we were there. Lots of trees to sit under. We took almost all our meals at the villa and the food was delicious. Breakfast was included and so filling that we often just had a snack at lunch and then a full dinner (try their steamboat!). We made great friends with the management and the young women running the place and everyone was wonderfully kind to our daughter.

I should mention that we stayed her as a splurge - part of a year-long trip - and that our stay came after several weeks of hostels. If you were going to stay here as your /only/ vacation of a year, you might be disappointed but coming as we were for sun and sand and beautiful water, clean rooms and a decent price, this place was fantastic for us.
