I can imagine that there is a market for such a project, although it's not my cup of tea. But then, I don't belong to the target group ;)

It's probably ideal for somebody who looks for a nice, secure gated community where they don't have to worry about the property if they leave it alone between visits.

I lived in Sotogrande, Spain, a very nice and idyllic community (with and one of the world's best golf courses :) But it wasn't until they built the Marina in a similar way. Luxury condos that look all alike, restaurants, shopping malls etc. that the area became known and now is overrun by tourists. So, if that is what they look for I am sure they become a success.
