Nazlina's Traditional Food Class in Penang teaches you how to prepare a great traditional Malay and/or Nyonya meal. Every class starts with a visit to the local wet market where you will be introduced to local vegetables, meat (if applicable, vegetarian classes can be arranged) and local spices. We will spend 1.5 hours at the market before cooking at Nazlina Spice Station which is located at: 2 Campbell Street (Lebuh Campbell) - Opposite of the Campbell Street Market Everyone is invited to sign up for her class but there is a maximum of attendants of 12 per class. Classes start at 7.30AM with the market tour and around 9-9.30 AM you will start your preparations and cooking. The fees vary depending on the kinds of food being cooked.
